Before, my sister experienced to be trapped inside a building on fire because back then, she worked at a big company and she was really a model employee because she would have overtime so that she could finish her work. She did not panic at that time that is why and she was able to think of the fire extinguisher which is just located near her office and because of that, she got out of the building safe. We would need the help of a fire department if the fire is no longer controllable but if it is just a small fire the use of a fire extinguisher would be very useful. A small fire can still be controlled with the help of a fire extinguisher that is why my husband and I decided to have one at home so that we will be somehow safe from fire. For safety purposes, we have decided to have it at home because it is really better to be careful than to be sorry but actually, it is not really required to have fire extinguishers at home. In the United States, it is required to have them checked annually by a Fire Protection company and we can see that they are really useful in any area especially areas with many people. During inspection, there is a tag placed on the extinguisher to tell which service was performed, may it be annual inspection or recharge, and of course, the date of service. In the future, there will be many things that will happen that is why we must have fire extinguishers in our houses so that we will somehow feel secured against fire.
