I have a friend who collects these and I found one of a woman reclining in a hammock. She looked so relaxed, that I could imagine what it felt like to lie there myself. There is a water scene that I really like painted in 1940 and it is of a swamp house on a bayou and has a Louisiana feel to it. Yet there is something modern and compelling about both the sound of the music and Ms. Carsons vocals and within each song lies a well crafted and produced performance that validates the singers pedigree and many talents. Some of my favorite songs include My Time Will Arrive which has a bluesy, 60ish feel to it and Architect of Dreams a more spiritual song with haunting vocals that linger in your head long after the song is over.

Even as I was young, I have always been the curious type of person and that means that I really love going into the minute details on almost every thing; I like to think and wonder about how it came to be what it is, where did it come from, when was it invented, what can be done to improve such a curious technology, what can I do to improve it, and a lot of wishful thinking most of which are more impossible that possible. At my early and younger days, I was able to visit a hospital and when I entered the building, I was like standing on the middle of nowhere like everything around me were all new things and are alien to me; that curious person inside me was awakened that I wanted to check out everything in that place not realizing how hazardous the place is for a kid; I wanted to see what were behind those doors, what are those things that people in white put around their necks and what they do inside operating rooms. The longing inside was still there as we got inside the room in which my cousin was confined, so I asked permission from my mom if it was okay for me to go outside and check things out; however, she did not seem to be listening to me so without a sound and a word, I got out of the room. When I escaped the room, the first place I visited was the station where the nurses were and I found there some people in halloween costumes and also I found that a lot of nurses were calling the doctors via telephones and they were speaking some things that I did not understand, and I also noticed that the wires were really quite tangled up because there were just so many telephones and buzzers; so I thought to myself, I wonder if I could make a wireless nurse call a possibility where the wires would not cause a problem anymore. Unfortunately, my fun was cut short when the front desk started paging the stations for a missing child and I came running to the stairs afterwards.
